Allison Cahill headshot

A former basketball star, Allison Cahill is the all-time leading scorer at Uxbridge (Mass.) High School. She went on to play guard for the Princeton Lady Tigers where she was a four-year letter winner, team captain, and member of the 1,000 point club.

Upon graduation, Allison pursued football first with the New England Storm in 2003. Eighteen years later, Cahill is a seven-time national champion, five-time league MVP, 14-time All-Star, and the only quarterback to have reached 100 career victories playing exclusively in women’s tackle football leagues.

Allison was named Most Valuable Player of the 2021 WFA Division 1 National Championship Game. Her signed game jersey was curated by the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Cahill became the first quarterback to lead women’s football teams to 7 national titles (2010, 2011, 2014, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022). She broke a long-standing mark of 5 set by Kim Grodus of the Detroit Demolition (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007).

Over her career, Allison Cahill has amassed more than 25,000 passing yards and more than 350 passing touchdowns. She has tallied a win-loss record of 148-25 including a 30-7 postseason record. She has a career 63% completion percentage and a 119.3 quarterback rating.

Cahill’s personal drive and lifelong desire to play football is one of the focal points in the documentary film Born To Play.
