Pittsburgh Passion 44, Boston Renegades 41

PITTSBURGH — April 21, 2018 — The Renegades offense exploded, scoring 6 touchdowns to pace the Passion, but in the end a Pittsburgh field goal made the difference. Quarterback Allison Cahill #7 had her most prolific performance of the year so far, passing for 342 yards and five touchdowns. Emily Beinecke #87 pulled down three touchdowns and amassed 179 yards; Beinecke has topped 175 yards in consecutive weeks. Stephanie Pascual #3 reeled in two touchdown passes, while Angelica Pascual #1 carried 20 times for 62 yards and one touchdown. Allie Genereux #52 and Jessica Penta #85 lead the team in tackles with Penta recovering a fumble.

Boston (2-1) next faces the New York Sharks. The long-awaited meeting will take place at Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Saturday, May 12. The Renegades’ next home game will be June 2 against the Baltimore Nighthawks.
